Amreeta Baskaran is the founder of Riya Knots and Crafts, a sustainable home decor and fashion brand started in 2019 and based at Chennai.
Born into a family of artists and fueled by a Bachelors of Architecture from the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirapalli, Amreeta blended her knowledge of design and colors with her decade of experience in knotting, creating a perfect union of her passions.
She has been honing her macrame-making skills for the past few years. Her work is minimalistic and elegant, inspired by her tryst with diverse cultures and moments drawn from her daily life.
She endeavors to bring conscious style and art into everyone’s home, and create a sustainable and equitable future for home decor and fashion.
